Mo Hollman has 33 years of experience in higher education facilities management at both public and private institutions. He enjoys a well-deserved reputation for inspirational and motivational leadership and as an experienced practitioner of organizational improvement initiatives.

Mo began his university facilities career in 1980 at the University of California Santa Cruz, where he served in a variety of senior management positions culminating in his appointment as Associate Physical Plant Administrator. Recruited to the University of Southern California in 1991 as Director of Buildings and Grounds, he became Executive Director of Operations and Maintenance in 1992 and Associate Vice President in 1997. He was appointed Associate Senior Vice President for Facilities Management in 2002 and given responsibility for all aspects of the facilities portfolio, including planning, design, and construction, campus physical planning and operations and maintenance. During his tenure at USC, he led the facilities organization to achieve national recognition in receiving the APPA Award for Excellence in the year 2000. Prior to joining the ISES family, Mo served as Associate Vice Chancellor, Facilities Management at the University of California Davis from 2005 to 2009, where he led a wide-ranging reorganization of that facilities department.

Since joining ISES, Mo has conducted operational assessments of facility service organizations and provided consultancy to colleges, local governments and school districts regarding operational effectiveness, service quality, and employee motivation and morale. He has also served on evaluation teams under the APPA Facilities Management Evaluation Program and is an active member of APPA and PCAPPA.
