Ameren Corporation (NYSE: AEE) is a Fortune 500 company with assets of $23 billion. Its subsidiaries serve 2.4 million electric customers and more than 900,000 natural gas customers across 64,000 square miles in Illinois and Missouri, and generate nearly 16,000 megawatts of electricity.

Ameren Services Company (ASC) provides administrative support and services to Ameren Corporation and its operating companies, subsidiaries, and affiliates. In the fall of 2012, ASC’s Building Services Department sought assistance with the development and collection of building condition assessment information for more than 4.5 million square feet of facilities across two states, to be used in capital investment planning and budgeting processes.

ISES completed the work, which had three distinct phases, in October 2013. First, ISES performed full comprehensive building assessments for 16 critical facilities, delivering the information in printed reports. Second, ISES provided services and training to Ameren personnel for collecting consistent building condition information for internal generation of lifecycle analysis reports. Finally, on an ongoing basis, ISES is providing a web-based program to Ameren that is a central source of facility information accessible across the organization for all buildings, whether inspected by ISES or Ameren personnel. Immediately following completion, ISES was hired again to provide FCA services for an additional 17 facilities encompassing over 915,000 square feet.
